Pregnant Newtownabbey woman wins £100,000 on a National Lottery Scratchcard
Lauren McLarnon is putting a deposit on a house and taking her son to Disneyland
A Newtownabbey woman has won £100,000 on a National Lottery scratchcard.
Lauren McLarnon (23) from Newtownabbey celebrated with her partner, Michael Mullen (25), after she won the handsome sum on a scratchcard bought in the Abbeycentre, where she also works in O’Brien’s Sandwich Bar.
The part-time coffee shop worker, who has a 3-year-old son, celebrated with a glass of orange juice as she is expecting her second child next year with her partner, Michael.
Lauren purchased the Rainbow Scratchcard in Easons and now plans to spend the money wisely by putting down a deposit on a house and by taking her son to Disneyland.
Last month, Newtownabbey woman Mary Hamilton scooped £12.9m on the Euromillions draw.
The 65-year-old and husband Sandy (67) quit their jobs at a furniture store within hours of finding out about the life-changing windfall.
