Police would like to speak to the nurse who stopped at the scene of a crash which claimed the life of a 59-year-old man in Co Antrim earlier this month.

Martin Paxton died following the single vehicle crash on the Townhill Road, Rasharkin on the evening of Saturday May 2.

Mr Paxton was from Portglenone.

Inspector Alison Ferguson said: “The female nurse stopped at the scene of the one vehicle collision on Townhill Road, Rasharkin on the evening of Saturday 02 May.

She arrived on the scene at the same time as two other people at around 8:25pm.

“Police would like to speak to this lady as we continue to piece together the circumstances of Mr Paxton’s death.

"Please call police on the non-emergency number 101 if you are the lady on scene that evening, or you can help us to establish the identity of this person.”
