PSNI busts city cannabis factory in Lisburn
Cannabis plants with a potential street value of more than £63,000 have been recovered by police in Lisburn.
The PSNI said a "sophisticated cannabis factory" was uncovered during a search at Iniscarn Close in Knockmore on Monday. Cannabis cultivation equipment was also seized.
Lisburn area commander, Chief Inspector Darrin Jones, said: "Lisburn officers will continue to carry out proactive searches like this to remove drugs from the streets of our city.
"Support from the community is essential for police. Information provided by local people can help us to identify properties were drugs activity may be taking place and carry out searches.
"I continue to urge local people to bring any concerns they have about drugs, drug dealing or any other issue to us."
