PSNI investigate burglaries

Police in south Belfast are appealing for information following a number of burglaries over the weekend.

The first occurred sometime between 12 noon on Thursday 22 and 9am on Friday 23 July in the St John's Park area. Entry to the property was forced and a number of items were taken including a silver coloured Dell Inspiron laptop along with a sum of cash.

The second occurred sometime between 11.30pm on Saturday 24 and 2am Sunday 25 July in the Ulsterville Gardens area. Entry to the property was via an open window and a number of items were taken including an Apple Mac notebook and a sum of cash.

Finally, a house in the Ireton Street area was burgled sometime between 1am and 11am on Sunday 25 July. Entry to the property was forced and a number of items were taken including a black coloured Dell Studio 15 laptop complete with case, a dark blue coloured Acer laptop.

Anyone who may have noticed unusual activity in any of these areas, or who may have been offered similar goods for sale in suspicious circumstances, is asked to contact detectives in Musgrave Street on 0845 6008000 or the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555111.
