PSNI renew appeal after injured cat had to have tail amputated
Police have renewed their appeal after a cat was found with serious injuries and had to have its tail amputated.
Officers said Jude was missing for a few days at the beginning of March.
Jude was located in the Collinbridge area, with serious injuries to the abdomen, left eye and tail had to be amputated.
Police said: "Laying traps in residential areas which could inflict these injuries to an animal is illegal. Thankfully Jude is making good progress back at home with the family. But it could easily be a different story.
