A 24-year-old man has died in an overnight quad bike crash.

The man was riding the off-road vehicle on a road near Fivemiletown, Co Tyrone in the early hours.

The collision on the Aghintain Road was reported to police around 5am. Police said the quad bike was the only vehicle involved.

Officers have appealing to anyone who was travelling on the Aghintain Road early on Sunday and who witnessed the collision to contact local police in Dungannon or the PSNI Collision Investigation Unit on 101.

The Aghintain Road was reopened to traffic later on Sunday morning.

The crash victim was named by police as Keith Robinson from the Fivemiletown area.
