Raider used replica gun in Belfast chemist hold-up
A man has pleaded guilty to trying a rob chemist's shop with a replica firearm.
Scott Samuel Warnock (19) appeared in the dock of Belfast Crown Court to be arraigned on three offences.
Warnock, of Graymount Drive, off the Shore Road in north Belfast, admitted attempting to rob Richard Gordon's chemist of cash and medication on August 27, 2013, and having an imitation firearm with intent to commit robbery.
The defendant further pleaded guilty to stealing a quantity of clothing of an unknown value on August 26 this year.
Belfast Recorder Judge David McFarland revoked Warnock's bail and remanded him.
The judge said he would sentence Warnock on January 23, 2014, following the completion of a pre-sentence report.
