Recycling firm hit by £88k seizure orders

Confiscation orders totalling just over £88,000 were made at the Crown Court in Londonderry yesterday against a recycling company and one of its directors after they admitted breaching environmental legislation regarding controlled waste at their headquarters at Port Road in Lisahally.

Both confiscation orders were made under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

The two defendants will be sentenced for the offences on February 10.
