Rioting accused teenager banned from parades
A 16-year-old accused of Twelfth of July rioting in Belfast was yesterday banned from going near parades.
The suspect, who cannot be named because of his age, was also prohibited from wearing masks or gloves in public.
He faces charges of riotous assembly, possessing an offensive weapon, namely a laser pen, and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm to a police officer.
The alleged offences are connected to the violence which broke out last month at Ardoyne in the north of the city.
The teen was released on bail after appearing before Belfast Magistrates Court. He is to appear again next month.
