Rock thrown at home on Belfast interface
A man has escaped injury after a rock was thrown at his home at a troubled Belfast interface.
It happened last night shortly after 6pm in the Workman Avenue area of Woodvale after the resident challenged three youths who were interfering with a fence.
DUP councillor Brian Kingston branded the attack sectarian and blamed nationalist youths from Springfield Road. "The resident shouted at them and they ran off through the interface gate towards Springfield Road," he said.
"They returned and shouted sectarian abuse at him. They threw a rock at him, which struck an upstairs window of his house."
