Romanian man extradited from France for rape trial in Northern Ireland
A Romanian man has been extradited from France to Northern Ireland to stand trial for a rape in Northern Ireland.
French authorities executed a European arrest warrant in Lyon, in a joint operation with Romanian officials and Northern Ireland police.
The man is sought for trial in Northern Ireland following a rape in the Portadown area in 2014, police said.
The 26-year-old is to appear in Belfast Magistrates' Court on Friday.
