Rory club among lots to be sold off for kids' charity
Champion golfer Rory McIlroy is to auction off one of his prized clubs to raise cash for a Northern Ireland children's heart charity.
The Co Down man has signed the blue driver for the Children's Heartbeat Trust, which raises funds to help families with babies and young people born with a range of coronary conditions.
Bids are now open for the club, which is attracting interest from golf enthusiasts across the province, as is a signed boxing glove from Carl Frampton and a signed Northern Ireland shirt.
Organiser Robert Taylor has also recruited up to 170 players for an Invitational Golf Day at Holywood Golf Club on August 27. Details are on the charity's Facebook page.
