Ryanair cuts one flight on its Derry to London route
Irish airline Ryanair is to reduce the number of flights it operates between City of Derry Airport and London.
It will cut its weekly service to Stansted Airport from seven to six from October 30.
City of Derry Airport said management was involved in ongoing discussions with Ryanair regarding the winter 2016-2017 schedule.
It added that in addition to the remaining six weekly services to London Stansted, the airport provided five weekly flights to Glasgow International and five to Liverpool.
Ryanair began operating a new base from Belfast International Airport in March with flights to London Gatwick.
It will add further routes, including Alicante, Berlin, Lanzarote, Malaga, Milan, Tenerife, as well as Polish cities Krakow, Gdansk, Warsaw and Wroclaw.
