A special school will be closed for at least a week after the discovery of a bacteria which can cause Legionnaires' disease.
Hillcroft Special School in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim, was closed on Friday and is expected to stay shut until further tests have been completed.
The bacteria was found in a disused shower block.
In a statement the North Eastern Education and Library Board said: "We would like to reassure anyone who may be concerned that the area where the bacterium was found has not been in use by the pupils or staff at the school."
The board said parents had been informed and school authorities would liaise with the Public Health and Safety Executive to resolve the issue.
