An eight-year-old girl was among a number of people injured when a stolen car crashed in West Belfast.

The silver Vauxhall Zafira, stolen during a creeper burglary in Servia Street, hit three cars in Falls Road shortly before 8pm on Monday.

At least three men in their late teens or early 20s were seen running from the Zafira immediately after the collision.

The schoolgirl and several others were taken to hospital for treatment but their injuries were not believed to be serious or life-threatening.

Inspector Kelly Moore, from the Police Service of Northern Ireland, has appealed for anyone with information to contact 101.
