A man aged in his 70s has died following a crash between a car and a lorry on the A52 Ballyutoag Road near Dundrod.

His death comes less than 24 hours after another man in his 70s was killed in a road collision in Co Fermanagh.

Part of the Ballyutoag Road remained closed to traffic yesterday between the junctions of Seven Mile Straight and Carnaghliss Road.

On Sunday, the man involved in the accident in Fermanagh died following a one vehicle collision on Gardiners Cross Road near Tempo.

He was driving a white Suzuki Celerio car which left the road and struck a tree shortly after midday. He was taken to hospital where he died a short time later. Two passengers were taken to hospital and were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone with information about yesterday's accident is asked to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on non-emergency number 101.
