Security alert in south Belfast
Part of the Lisburn Road in south Belfast was sealed off last night after the discovery of a suspicious object close to to a PSNI station.
The device was discovered in Cadogan Park after 10pm and Army bomb disposal officers were called to the scene.
A number of nearby premises were evacuated during the alert. Security cordons were placed at the junction of Lisburn Road with Adelaide Park and at Marlborough Park and from Malone Road to Cadogan Park.
