Service in tribute to Northern Ireland's oldest man, William Noble CBE
The life of Northern Ireland's oldest man will be celebrated tomorrow after he died aged 106.
William 'Billy' Noble CBE from Belfast's Limestone Road passed away peacefully at home in Jordanstown.
As he celebrated his birthday in January, Mr Noble said the secret of his longevity was walking and working hard. He was also a teetotaller. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held in St Patrick's Parish Church, Jordanstown, tomorrow at 2pm.
The former civil servant died last Thursday. He was a husband to the late Maude, and father to Colin, Denis and Desmond, as well as a grandfather and great-grandfather.
