Sex offender in breach of licence
A registered sex offender has gone missing in Northern Ireland.
Joseph McCabe, 29, disappeared from an address in Belfast on Tuesday night and is in breach of conditions surrounding his release from prison on licence, police said.
He pleaded guilty to rape and burglary with intent to steal in the Belfast area in September 2006 at a courthouse in Antrim.
A PSNI spokesman said: "The public have been requested not to approach this person but are asked to contact police immediately if they think they know of his whereabouts."
McCabe is described as 6ft tall with short dirty fair hair. Police appealed for him to hand himself into the nearest police station.
