A fire at a shed in Fermanagh has killed 13 dogs, including six pups.

The fire started at around 8.15pm on Saturday at a property in the Drumcor Road area of Clabby.

Chief Inspector Graham Dodds said: "Investigations are ongoing this morning to establish if the fire was started deliberately or not.

"This incident is currently being linked to a suspicious object being found in the Clabby Road area on Friday April 17 which turned out to be nothing untoward."

He added: "To ensure the protection of the public, there will be increased police patrols in the area. I would ask anyone with any information on this to contact Enniskillen Police Staton on the non emergency number 101."
