Shots were fired at a flat in west Belfast last night.

The shooting happened in Forfar Street, near the Springfield Road, at about 10.30pm on Monday.

Police said a number of shots were fired into the front door of the flat - where a man was inside but he was not injured.

"A motive for the incident is being investigated," said a PSNI statement.
