Sinead O'Connor blows top over Kardashian mag cover
Singer Sinead O'Connor has declared music "dead" after seeing reality TV star Kim Kardashian on the cover of Rolling Stone.
The magazine has long-been considered one of the most prestigious music titles. O'Connor launched a vitriolic attack on her official Facebook page.
The Nothing Compares 2 U singer wrote: "What is this **** ('I don't smile much because it causes wrinkles') doing on the cover of Rolling Stone?
"Music has officially died. Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered it?
"Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh can no longer be expected to take all the blame."
The Irish star added: "Bob Dylan must be f****** horrified."
She then used the hash tags #BoycottRollingStone and #AGenerationIsBeingGroomedAndSilenced.
