'Speckled Rolex' ecstasy tablets suspected in sudden death of man in west Belfast
So-called 'speckled Rolex' ecstasy tablets have been linked to the sudden death of a man in west Belfast.
Police have said one man was pronounced dead at the scene in the Thornhill Court area of Twinbrook at around 7.40pm on Friday night.
Four others have been taken to hospital where their condition is said to be stable.
The death has been linked to yellow ecstasy tables known as 'speckled Rolex'.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out on the victim, police said this evening.
They have also appealed for anyone in possession of the pills to dispose of them immediately.
The latest death linked to batches of ecstasy pills comes after 'green Rolex' tablets were suspected in several others earlier this year.
The PSNI investigated the deaths of eight people in their 20s and 30s in Belfast and Antrim, and whether they were connected to the pills.
