Stolen car rammed through shutters of Belfast city centre shop

A stolen car has been rammed through the shutters of a shop in Belfast city centre.

Damage was caused to the front of the property at Donegall Place.

The incident, which may be linked to a spree of creeper-style burglaries across Mid Ulster, happened just before 6am on Thursday but details have just been released by police.

A Skoda Fabia, believed to have been involved, was found a short time later in the Bread Street area of West Belfast.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives on the non-emergency number 101.
