Strabane arrest: Man held in connection with Dublin Regency Hotel boxing weigh-in murder
A man wanted in connection with the Regency Hotel murder in Dublin has been arrested in Northern Ireland.
The PSNI said the man was detained on Monday evening under a European arrest warrant held by authorities in the Republic.
He will appear before Belfast Recorder’s Court on Tuesday morning.
The man is expected to be extradited to the Republic where he will face firearms and murder charges.
David Byrne, 33, was shot at the Regency Hotel on 5 February.
