Number of items taken away for examination
A suspect package has been taken away for examination after it was discovered at Royal Mail offices in Belfast city centre.
The security alert began at the Tomb Street sorting offices on Thursday morning.
The building and surrounding areas were subsequently evacuated.
Army bomb experts examined "a suspicious package" discovered in the Royal Mail offices.
As a result, a number of items have now been taken away for further examination.
The area has since reopened.
