Teen suffers broken jaw after assault in west Belfast
A 17-year-old boy has suffered a broken jaw after an assault in west Belfast.
Police in Lisburn are investigating the report of an assault on the Stewartstown Road in the early hours of Sunday March 8.
At around 1am, the teenager was assaulted by a man as he stood outside a pub.
He was taken to hospital and treated for a broken jaw. The man was described as being around 26-years-old, 6ft tall with short dirty fair hair.
He was described as being well built and wearing a red Berghaus jacket with a grey top, dark denim jeans and white Adidas shoes.
Investigating officer, Constable Mark Donaldson, is appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or who has any information which may be of assistance to the police investigation to contact officers in Lisburn on 101.
