Teen suffers 'serious' head and leg injuries after fight in Belfast city centre - three arrested
A 17-year-old boy has sustained injuries to his face and leg after a fight in Belfast city centre.
Police received a report of a fight between a group of people in the Custom House Square area on Saturday August 1 at 9pm.
The 17-year-old was taken to hospital for his injuries.
Three male teens were arrested and later released on bail pending further police enquiries.
Constable Dawn Kirk said: “Police received a report of a group of people fighting in the Custom House Square area and subsequently arrested a 16-year-old male, a 17-year-old male and an 18-year-old male.
"A 17-year-old male sustained serious injuries in this incident to his face and leg. He attended hospital for treatment to his injuries.
“If anyone witnessed this incident please contact police on 101 or anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
