A teenager is due in court after he was arrested on suspicion of possessing a flare at an Irish Cup semi-final.

The 16-year-old was detained at Windsor Park on Saturday and is due to appear at Belfast Youth Court this week.

The stadium was hosting the Irish Cup semi-final between Linfield and Lurgan Celtic.

A hat-trick from Aaron Burns gave the Premiership side victory.

It marked the end of the dream for Championship One side Celtic, who were playing in their first Irish Cup semi.

Last month a 17-year-old was charged with possessing a flare at the same stadium during a match between Linfield and Glentoran.
