A teenage boy has been left with wounds to his head and face after being set on by a group of men at a west Belfast park.

The attack took place in the Glenburn Road area of Dunmurry on Monday April 11. The PSNI is repeating an appeal for information about the incident.

Local Area Chief Inspector for West Belfast Norman Haslett said, “The teenager was chased by a number of men at around 8.30pm as he walked through a park in the area. He was punched and kicked and suffered injuries to his face and head as a result of the attack.

“I am repeating our appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or who may have any information about it, to contact police at Woodbourne station on 101 or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
