The Fall star Bronagh Waugh has said she is "still waiting" for marriage equality and does not intend to wed until the law is changed and everyone in Northern Ireland can tie the knot.
The former Hollyoakes actress made the comment in a tweet on Friday.
"STILL waiting...." She tweeted.
"I won't get married until everyone in my country can. Come on #NorthernIreland the clock is ticking... #EqualMarriage"
Despite a majority of MLAs voting in favour of marriage equality in the last vote in the Assembly, a motion to change the law was defeated as the matter did not gain cross-community support.
Waugh plays Sally-Ann Spector alongside Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson in the BBC crime thriller, The Fall.
