Join the Lagan Valley Regional Park (LVRP) team on Saturday, December 13, at 3pm for an exciting day creating traditional Christmas wreaths and Yule logs using evergreen materials gathered from the park.
Please bring your own secateurs/pruners if possible. As this is a site-based activity, booking ahead is required.

Carol singers from the Association of Belvoir Churches (Presbyterian, Methodist and Baptist) will be bringing some festive sounds to the ears of Christmas shoppers at Tesco, Newtownbreda, on December 15, 17 and 19, from 7pm to 8pm.

Belvoir Players will be holding their 35th annual pantomime in their studio on Belvoir Drive.
The pantomime begins at 8pm on December 22, running on various nights up until January 3.

Belfast Giants and Great Britain ice hockey player David Phillips visited children at Belvoir Presbyterian’s Junior Friday Focus Group last week.
David told the children lots about himself, answered numerous questions, signed autographs for everyone.
The children hope to go and see David playing for the Giants in the new year.
The Community Association of Belvoir and Milltown would like to let everyone know that the Community House at 1a Kilwarlin Crescent will be closed from December 24 to 26, re-opening on Monday, December 29. We will also be closed on December 31 and look forward to seeing you all in the new year.

The Blackstaff Homeowners' Association is urging all residents living in the Village urban renewal area who are intending to object to a vesting order application from the Housing Executive to do so in writing before the Christmas holidays.
This should give the Department for Social Development time to acknowledge receipt of all letters before the holiday rush.
The Blackstaff Community Development Association has asked Translink to reinstate the Metro bus stop at the new Richview Regeneration Centre, which is opposite Richview Presbyterian Church.
The stop was taken away during building work at the Richview site, but as the work has finished, residents feel that the stop should be reinstated.
As a result of the request,Translink has contacted Roads Service about the condition of the footpath where the stop was originally.
Donegall Road Methodist Church will be holding a ‘Christmas Joy in the Community’ event on Sunday, December 14, at 11.30am.
This is followed at 4pm with carols, stories and reflections.
Everybody is welcome.
The South West Belfast Christmas Festival starts on Sunday, December 14, with a community carol service in Blythefield Primary School, Sandy Row, from 6.30pm until 7.30pm.
