It looked like a family affair for Team McIlroy as round two of the 2016 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open teed off yesterday at the swish K Club in Straffan.

The two most important women in golfer Rory's life - his mum Rose and his American fiancee Erica Stoll - looked deep in conversation as they walked the course with the star's sporting entourage.

The tournament is being hosted by his Rory Foundation charity.

As well as the world number three from Co Down, Masters champion Danny Willett has also taken to the fairways for his first appearance in Europe since his Major triumph.

The tournament features a star-studded line-up that includes former Major winners Graeme McDowell, Darren Clarke and Padraig Harrington.
