Thieves stole in one

A substantial amount of golf equipment was stolen in a commercial burglary last week.

Local police are appealing for information following the incident which took place in the early hours of Wednesday, June 2 at commercial premises in the Upper Newtownards Road area.

Entry to the property was forced and among the equipment stolen were 6 x Burner tailor made drivers, 4 x Burner fairway wood drivers, a Burner Rescue, 4x Burner R9 3 woods, 5 x Ping G15 drivers, one Ping I15 driver, 3 x Ping G15 3 woods, 8 x Cobra drivers, 2 x Mizuno MP600 drivers, 2 x Wilson spine drivers, one Cleveland driver, one Callaway driver, one Ping G10 driver, 9 x MD drivers, 2 x Black Hawk box set irons, one set of tailor made R9 irons, one set of tailor made R9 irons, one set of Titleist AP1 irons, 4 x Cobra carry bags, one which is blue coloured, one white, one red and one black coloured bag.

All of the golf drivers are minus their club covers.

Anyone who may have noticed unusual activity in the Upper Newtownards Road area, or who may have been offered similar goods for sale in suspicious circumstances, is asked to contact detectives in Musgrave Street on 0845 6008000 or leave information anonomously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
