Thousands of runners in the pink for 'happiest 5k on the planet'
More than 6,000 runners crossed the finish line at the Color Run yesterday, dubbed the 'Happiest 5k on the Planet'.
Now in its third year, the runners covered the Titanic Quarter in colour as thousands more turned out to support those taking part.
So far, the Color Run has taken place in more than 50 countries with over 300 events hosted worldwide. The Color Run sees participants covered in clouds of coloured powder at each kilometre of the route.
As it's not a timed event, friends and families can walk, jog, dance and party their way along the course at any pace, many raising money for charity.
A new "shimmer and shine" area was an extra addition for 2015. After the run, powdered partygoers joined the Color Festival Area to enjoy a great mix of DJs, MCs and a host of giveaways.
