Three arrested in race-hate probe

Police investigating racist hate crime in Northern Ireland have made three arrests using terrorism legislation.

A gun, ammunition and a small quantity of suspected drugs were recovered, a Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) spokesman said.

Two men aged 43 and 41 and a woman aged 41 were detained following searches in the Castlereagh area as part of investigations into a recent increase in the number of hate crimes being committed across Belfast.
