Three held over ecstasy seizure

Three men have been arrested after specialist police officers seized drugs in the Belfast and Newcastle areas.

The suspected ecstasy tablets and mephedrone were found by officers from the Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca).

Cash, computers and mobile phones were also recovered during Monday night's operation, which was assisted by the PSNI.

The arrests of the men, who are all in their 20s, took place in Newcastle, Dundrum and north Belfast.

A Soca spokeswoman said the seized items had been taken away for forensic examination.
