Three held over Peggy O'Hara funeral are released
Three people arrested by detectives investigating paramilitary activity at the wake and funeral of republican veteran Peggy O'Hara in Londonderry have been freed.
The suspects, a 43-year-old woman and two men aged 44 and 57, were arrested in the city on Wednesday morning. They were released unconditionally yesterday.
Dozens of people in paramilitary-style uniform attended the funeral of Mrs O'Hara in July.
Her son, INLA member Patsy O'Hara, died on hunger strike in the Maze Prison in 1981.
The funeral cortege featured paramilitary displays and paraded from Templegrove to the City Cemetery.
Before the funeral masked men were filmed firing shots over her coffin outside her home.
