Three men are due in court today charged with attempting to murder a teenage GAA player.
Jordan Duffy suffered serious injuries after being assaulted in an apparent sectarian attack in Antrim during the early hours of Friday morning.
The 17-year-old Catholic remains in a stable condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital.
The three accused, who are all in their early 20s, are due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court this morning.
It is understood Jordan - who plays for St Comgall's GAC - was walking along Station Road accompanied by two friends when challenged by a group of youths.
They attempted to escape but the gang caught up with Jordan and attacked him.
He was taken to Antrim Area Hospital before being transferred to the RVH in Belfast.
Antrim SDLP councillor Grainne Teggart said: "We condemn the recent brutal attack on Jordan Duffy and we must respond with action.''
