Trucker won’t block Irish extradition bid
A lorry driver wanted in the Republic over sexual assault allegations is unlikely to oppose extradition proceedings, a court heard.
Roy Cochrane's lawyers are in contact with the Garda to try to finalise arrangements, a judge was told. The 42-year-old, of Loughmuck Road, Omagh, Co Tyrone, was held earlier this month on a European arrest warrant. He is being sought in connection with allegations that he attacked a girl in Co Donegal.
