Orangemen followed in the footsteps of heroes at this year's East Antrim Combine Twelfth in Randalstown.

Parade participants made their way to the town's Dunmore Park, which was a military training camp in World War One.

Local volunteers from the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers and the 14th Royal Irish Rifles were among those trained at the site before being deployed to France.

Joining local brethren at the event were Orangemen and women representative of the neighbouring Larne, Sixmilewater, Antrim, Killead, Carrickfergus, Randalstown, Cloughfern and Carnmoney Districts.

A number of lodges had new banners on parade yesterday, including Staffordstown LOL 704 and Hillstown LOL 176.

The service at the field, meanwhile, was taken by Rev Robert Campbell.
