Two arrested after woman seriously injured in Northern Ireland crash
Two men have been arrested after a crash in Co Down left a woman seriously injured.
The crash between a red Audi and a blue Renault happened on the A21 Bangor/Ards carriageway on Saturday just before 11.20pm.
Both cars came together on the Ards-bound section at the junction with the Green Road.
Three men and a woman were taken to hospital.
The woman, aged in her 30s, is described as being in a serious condition whilst the men suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Part of the road was closed to allow the emergency services to attend the scene. It has since reopened to traffic.
A police spokesman said two men aged 22 have been arrested in relation to the collision and one remains in custody assisting officers with their enquiries.
