Two men have been arrested in connection with public disorder in Lurgan last month.

A man aged 30 has been detained on suspicion of affray and obstruction, while a man aged 53 has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, affray and obstruction.

They are being held at Lurgan police station and are assisting police with their inquiries.

Two officers were injured when trouble flared in the Kilwilkie estate on March 28. A number of petrol bombs were thrown and an obstruction was also placed on the railway line during the disturbances.
