Two arrests in PSNI terrorism and organised crime probe

Two men have been arrested in Londonderry during searches as part of a PSNI investigation into terrorism and organised crime.

The searches were carried out in the Ballymagroarty and Galliagh areas on Monday morning.

The 34-year-old and a 44-year-old men were taken to a police station in Belfast for questioning.

Detective Inspector Tom McClure from Reactive and Organised Crime Branch, said: "A number of items have been removed for examination and the men have been taken to Musgrave police station in Belfast for questioning."
