Two men and one woman released following money laundering investigation arrests
Two men and one woman have been released as the PSNI continue an investigation into money laundering and counterfeit currency.
The trio - all aged in their 40s - were arrested by detectives from the Economic Crime Unit of Reactive and Organised Crime Branch of the PSNI following searches in the Carryduff, Belfast and Dromore areas on Monday.
Detective Chief Inspector Ian Wilson said: “Two men, aged 43 and 45 and one female aged 46 were arrested on suspicion of money laundering offences."
The investigation is not believed to be terrorist related.
They were released around 9pm on Monday on bail pending further police enquiries.
