Two men have been arrested in connection with a street brawl in which two other men were stabbed.

Police said serious public disorder flared close to a funeral directors on the Falls Road in West Belfast on Wednesday afternoon.

It is understood up to 50 people were involved in the fighting.

The suspects, aged 24 and 33, have been taken into custody and are assisting officers with their inquiries, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said.

Detective Sergeant Natalie McNally has appealed for anyone with information to contact detectives at Musgrave Street station on 101.
