Two men arrested in Strabane bomb attack probe released unconditionally
Two men arrested by police investigating the attempted murder of PSNI officers in Strabane on March 21 have been released unconditionally.
The pair aged 46 and 48 were arrested in Omagh and Strabane on Tuesday.
Three police officers escaped injury in March when their patrol was targeted in the Townsend Street area of Strabane.
It is understood that the device used was a roadside bomb with a command wire attached.
The PSNI said in a statement at the time that it was "incredibly lucky" that no-one was killed in the incident.
