Two men have been arrested by police investigating the murder of Gediminas Stauskas in Coalisland.

A 27-year-old was arrested in Dungannon and a 41-year-old was arrested in Coalisland, Co Tyrone on Monday morning.

Gediminas Stauskas (32), a Lithuanian national with connections to the Dungannon area, was found in premises on Moor Road, Coalisland, last month.

It is understood the dead man's body was found by a mechanic when he opened up the premises where he runs his business on October 15.

Detective Chief Inspector Lee McNevison added: “The suspects have been arrested as part of the overall investigation on suspicion of assisting an offender and withholding information. They are being interviewed at Dungannon police station.”

Last week a 34-year-old man was remanded in custody charged with the murder of Mr Stauskas.
