Two men face ATM theft bid charges

Two men have been charged with attempting to raid an ATM using an explosive device.

The men, both aged 37, allegedly carried out the attempted raid at a filling station on Annareagh Road in Hamiltonsbawn, Co Armagh, during the early hours of Thursday.

They have been charged with causing an explosion, attempted theft and two counts of criminal damage.

They are due to appear at Newry Magistrates' Court later.
