Two people have escaped injury after shots were fired at a house and a flat in Lurgan.

It happened at a flat in Woodville Street and a house in Victoria Street area on Tuesday October 4 at around 11.15pm.

There was one person in each property at the time who escaped injury.

The Victoria Street area remains closed while enquiries continue.

Chief Inspector Jon Burrows said: “I would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and who may have noticed any suspicious activity to contact police at Lurgan on 101 quoting reference 1459 04/10/16 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111”
